As Stress Awareness month comes to an end - i wanted to share some advice following on from the IVFN event that took place today. What Is Stress – And How Do You Know You’re Feeling It?Stress is your body’s natural reaction to pressure or challenges. It’s not always a long term thing, but ongoing stress can affect your mind and body more than you realise. When stress builds up, it can show up in all kinds of ways. Here are some common symptoms: Physical signs: headaches, muscle tension, fatigue, trouble sleeping, or an upset stomach. Emotional signs: feeling overwhelmed, anxious, irritable, tearful, or low in mood. Behavioural signs: changes in appetite, withdrawing from others, difficulty concentrating, or feeling restless. Everyone experiences stress differently, but if you’re noticing these signs regularly, it’s worth taking a moment to pause, check in with yourself, and explore ways to feel more supported. Even small changes—like talking to someone, getting outside, or simply breathing deeply—can help ease the pressure. - IVFN
