Do the due diligence on the clinic you want to go with, what is their live birth rate, what do they do differently from others, how will they look at your case separately from anyone else, what diagnostics will they do before they start treatment. I wish I knew from the beginning what it took me 6 years to find out, so I would learn everything I can from the beginning but by speaking to the right people at the top of the tree!

I suppose I am right at the beginning so this feels so important to me. How do I do the correct due diligence, which seems like a silly question to ask?

It’s not an easy process but you will surprise yourself in what you can achieve. Before I started thus process I was terrified of needles and hospitals but wanting a baby has definitely helped me concour my fear! I was open and honest with my friends and family ans personally it has made the process better for me. I thought I was alone with my infertility issues buy so many people I didn’t even know had issues themselves. I think it’s important to be open and honest so others don’t feel alone

If you could share one piece of advice to people going through IVF for the first time, what would it be?
